[FHB Update - Central GP, Hard Winter Wheat]

Wheat in the southeast and south central portions of the state should be at heading and flowering stages of growth this week. Wheat is most vulnerable to Fusarium head blight during flowering and the early stages of grain development. The risk map currently indicates a low risk of severe Fusarium head blight with 24-72 hour weather forecasts indicating the risk of disease is likely to stay low for the next few days.
