[FHB Update - Central GP, Hard Winter Wheat]

Wheat in southern Kansas is now at the jointing stages of growth. It will be
weeks before wheat reaches the flowering stages that are most vulnerable to
infection by Fusarium head blight. Recent rains have brought some temporary
relief from dry conditions in areas of central KS.
