[FHB Update - Central GP, Hard Winter Wheat]

The Kansas wheat crop is currently at the flag leaf emergence stages of
growth in most areas of the state. Wheat in the Southeast portion of the
state; however, will be heading this week. The eastern portions of the state
have received frequent rains this past week and this moisture but, it
appears the cool temperatures are reducing the risk of severe disease.
Growers should monitor conditions carefully because the risk of disease may
increase rapidly if temperatures warm and the moist conditions persist.
