[fhb] September is USWBSI Pre-Proposal and Continuation Request Submission Time

Submissions due in September for 
USWBSI FY24 Pre-Proposals and YR3 Continuation Requests

Dear FHB Community,

September is right around the corner, and so is the deadline for anyone
planning to submit a new pre-proposal and/or YR3 continuation request via
the  <https://scabusa.org/submissions/> USWBSI Submission Portal. All
submissions are due by September 21, 2023. 

If you haven't already, you can
<https://scabusa.org/request_research_funding> access the two-path process
to review requirements and then go to the submission portal to:

Start a new Pre-Proposal submission, it only requires your contact
information, title of pre-proposal and research category to start, return as
needed with other details to complete. 

Activate a YR3 Continuation request form for currently funded PIs with 4YR
project agreements only. Continuation request forms are auto generated once
the PI activates the links provided and can be returned to as needed to
finish all requirements.

Login in required, if you haven't used before you can
<https://scabusa.org/login/register.php> sign-up for an account, or if you
have an account and don't recall your details you can
<https://scabusa.org/login/reset.php> reset your password and receive a
<https://scabusa.org/login/uname.php> username reminder.

New Pre-Proposals 

Full details and instructions for the
<https://scabusa.org/research_rfp-fy24> USWBSI FY24 Request for
Pre-Proposals (RFP) are available and several new items have been added to
the  <https://scabusa.org/research_rfp-fy24/FAQ> RFP Frequently Asked
Questions (FAQ) section, make sure to review along with the Category
specific instructions before starting your submission.

YR3 Continuation Requests 

All currently funded PIs received an email with instructions on how to
prepare and submit YR3 project continuation requests, additional details are
also available on the  <https://scabusa.org/continuationrequest> FY24-YR3
Continuation Request page.
