USWBSI FY24 Pre-Proposal and YR3 Continuation Request

Submission Portal Now Open

 

Dear FHB Community,

 

The  <https://scabusa.org/submissions/> USWBSI Submission Portal is now open
and accepting submissions via a two-path process for all Pre-Proposals as
well as YR3 Continuation Requests. All submissions are due by September 21,
2023. 


 <https://scabusa.org/submissions/> The enhanced online submission portal
offers access to the two-path process where you can do either or both
options:

Start a new Pre-Proposal submission, it only requires your contact
information, title of pre-proposal and research category to start, return as
needed with other details to complete. 

Activate a YR3 Continuation request form for currently funded PIs with 4YR
project agreements only. Continuation request forms are auto generated once
the PI activates the project links provided and can be returned to as needed
to finish all requirements.

Login in required for access, if you haven't used before you can
<https://scabusa.org/login/register.php> sign-up for an account, or if you
have an account and don't recall your details you can
<https://scabusa.org/login/reset.php> reset your password and receive a
<https://scabusa.org/login/uname.php> username reminder.

*        <https://scabusa.org/research_rfp-fy24/Cat1> Category 1 -
Commodity-based and VDHR-Uniform Nursery Coordinated Projects*

*        <https://scabusa.org/research_rfp-fy24/Cat2> Category 2 - FHB
Integrated Management Coordinated Project*

*        <https://scabusa.org/research_rfp-fy24/Cat3> Category 3 - Research
Area Individual Project Pre-Proposals

o   FHB Management (MGMT)

o   Food Safety and Toxicology (FST)

o   Gene Discovery and Engineering Resistance (GDER)

o   Pathogen Biology and Genetics (PBG)

o   Other - Pre-proposals that do not fit into a specific research area or
coordinated project may also be submitted in this Category

*        <https://scabusa.org/research_rfp-fy24/Cat4> Category 4 -
Transformational Science Project Pre-Proposals*

 

*Pre-proposals for Categories 1, 2 and 4 require approval of a Letter of
Intent (LOI), only submit to these categories if you received approval.
Category 3 is open for pre-proposals, no LOI was required.

 

Updated FAQs. There are several new items that have been added to the

(FAQ) section, make sure to review along with the Category instructions
before starting your submission.

 

YR3 Continuation Requests 

All currently funded PIs will receive an email with instructions on how to
prepare and submit YR3 project continuation requests (applicable to 4-year
projects), additional details are also available on the
<https://scabusa.org/continuationrequest> FY24-YR3 Continuation Request
page.
