[fhb] Seeking Poster Judges for the 2022 NFHB Forum

FHB Colleagues,

The 2022 National Fusarium Head Blight Forum is only four months away. We
are working diligently to plan a fun scientific event for all attendees.
Continuing with expectations, we are planning an in-person poster session
with the option for post-doctoral researchers and graduate students to
compete in the Poster Competition.

If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer to be a judge this year,
we are currently seeking individuals for all research categories (Food
Safety and Toxicology, FHB Management, Gene Discovery and Engineering
Resistance, Pathogen Biology and Genetics, and Variety Development and Host
Plant Resistance).

The first round of judging will take place virtually prior to the Forum and
judges will be asked to evaluate virtual posters and videos using the
virtual poster room. The top five individuals in both categories (graduate
students and post-docs) will then be evaluated at the Forum during the live
poster sessions.

If you would like to volunteer to be a poster judge for either or both
rounds of judging please email me (amber.hoffstetter at scabusa.org). Looking
forward to working with some of you to evaluate these individuals'
wonderful research projects.
