FHB Colleagues,

We hope everyone is doing well. We wanted to make you aware of our November Featured Researcher post on the What’s Hot news feed of ScabUSA <https://scabusa.org/>.

Our current featured researcher is Dr. Paul Nicholson. Dr. Nicholson is the group leader for Designing Future Wheat, Plant Health at the John Innes Centre in Norwich, UK. His lab’s research focuses on exploring the genetic basis for pathogen resistance in wheat and barley. While Fusarium head blight is one disease the lab works on, they also study wheat blast, and eyespot.

Visit the John Innes Center website to learn more about Dr. Paul Nicholson <https://www.jic.ac.uk/people/paul-nicholson/> and plan on attending the Plenary Session of the 2021 NFHB Forum on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 8 a.m. P.T. | 9 a.m. M.T. | 10 a.m. C.T. | 11 a.m. E.T. The 2021 NFHB Forum will be held virtually. Registration <https://scabusa.org/forum21> is required to attend the Sessions.

Warm regards,
Amber
