[fhb] Invitation to Gene Discovery and Engineering Resistance (GDER) Research Area mid-year meeting

Dear Colleagues,
 
On behalf of the Gene Discovery and Engineering Resistance (GDER) Research Area Committee and all GDER PI/Co-PIs, I would like to invite you to the virtual GDER mid-year meeting on Thursday May 27 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM Central Time (2:00-5:00PM Eastern Time; noon-3:00PM Mountain Time; 11:00AM-2:00PM Pacific Time). ​
 
The goal of this mid-year meeting is to appraise the GDER and the broader USWBSI community about GDER projects, to receive feedback on our projects, share and develop new ideas/approaches to mitigate FHB, and to develop collaborations beyond the GDER research area.  There will be short (5 min) presentations and Q&A on GDER supported projects as well as a few recently funded Transformational Science projects. 
 
We hope you can participate. Although no registration is required, it would we helpful if you could send an email to Jyoti.Shah at unt.edu notifying your participation. Please share this message with your students, postdocs, staff, and collaborators. Thank you.
