[fhb] Deadline for USWBSI Letters of Intent - Due July 1

Dear USWBSI Community,
 
The U.S. Wheat & Barley Scab Initiative (USWBSI) Request for Pre-Proposal
process for the FY22 Funding Cycle is in full motion. The first deadline for
USWBSI Letters of Intent is quickly approaching. Due this week are LOIs for
all of the Coordinated Projects and the Transformational Science categories.

 
If you are planning to submit a pre-proposal for one of the following, make
sure to submit your LOI online by this Thursday, July 1, 2021 for:

Commodity-based and VDHR-Uniform Nursery Coordinated Projects
.          <https://scabusa.org/research_rfp-fy22/Cat2> Category 2 - FHB
Integrated Management Coordinated Project
.          <https://scabusa.org/research_rfp-fy22/Cat4> Category 4 -
Transformational Science Project Pre-Proposals (New to this RFP!)
 
For PIs considering one of the Research Areas in the RFP, make sure to
review the requirements in the coming month, an LOI is not required for:

Research Area Individual Project Pre-Proposals
 
The USWBSI Electronic Pre-Proposal Submission (EPS) System opens on August 3
for all LOI accepted projects and for pre-proposals in Category 3.
Submissions of all Pre-Proposals are due by September 21, 2021 via the
USWBSI EPS System.
 
If you are interested in submitting a Letter of Intent and/or Pre-Proposal,
please follow the step-by-step instructions provided for each Category on
