2ND CALL FOR POSTERS/PAPERS

 

2017 National Fusarium Head Blight Forum

December 3-5, 2017

We are now accepting registration of posters for presentation during the
Forum, and also abstracts/papers for inclusion in the proceedings for the
2017 National Fusarium Head Blight Forum.  There is no limit to the number
of poster abstracts and/or manuscripts submitted by one author.  However, a
separate on-line registration form must be completed for each poster
abstract and/or paper that is submitted.

 

If you would like to submit a poster abstract and/or paper, first please
review the instructions (https://scabusa.org/forum_paper), and then complete
an on-line registration form (https://scabusa.org/forum_paper_reg.php).  For
each item submitted, an on-line registration must be completed by Monday,
November 6th.  The abstract and paper content (e-files only; MS Word format
plus a PDF if submitting a paper) must be received in the NFO also by
Monday, November 6, 2017, 5:00 PM ET.  PLEASE review the formatting
instructions (https://scabusa.org/forum_paper_inst) carefully prior to
submitting content.

 

Flash & Dash Presentations associated with a Poster:

Flash & Dash presentations are for graduate students, post-docs and early
career professionals.  Presenters will give a short (5 minute) 'flash and
dash' presentation of the work highlighted in their poster prior to the
poster sessions.  This exercise is expected to increase the visibility of
your research, and attract interest to your poster during the poster
session.  Selection of Flash & Dash Presenters will be based on review of
associated abstract or paper.  Individuals who indicated interest (when
registering a poster) in giving a F&D Presentations associated with their
poster will be notified no later than November 14.

IMPORTANT DATES:

 

Nov. 6th:       Deadline for registration of Posters/Papers/Abstracts.

                      Deadline for the submission of abstract and paper
content for the Forum proceedings.

Nov. 10th:    Deadline for Early Registration (Fee: US$155.00)

                      Last day to receive full refund.

Nov. 11th:    Late registration begins (Fee: US$190.00)

Nov. 14th:    Individuals notified of selection of Flash & Dash
Presentations

Nov. 17th:    Last day to reserve hotel room with guaranteed availability
and rate.

Nov. 20th:    On-line Registration closes.

                      Last day to receive partial refund.
