Upcoming USWBSI Virtual Events

 

April 23 | 12-5PM Central

GDER-PBG Joint Mid-year Meeting 

The USWBSI Gene Discovery and Engineering Resistance (GDER) and Pathogen
Biology and Genetics (PBG) research area committees are planning a mid-year
joint meeting which will take place virtually on Thursday, April 23, from
12:00-5:00 PM Central Time. The purpose of this meeting is to gain feedback,
exchange ideas, and facilitate increased interaction and collaboration
between these two research areas. The meeting is open to anyone interested
in learning more about the GDER and PBG research projects. Registration is

Impact of FHB on a Seed Business Webinar for Students/Post-Docs

The USWBSI graduate student and post-doc organization GPFHB (Graduate
Students and Post-docs in FHB) is hosting a free webinar with Ken Davis,
Grow Pro Genetics, he will explore the economic impact and opportunity for
enhanced FHB tolerance and the industry and commercial application of plant
breeding effectiveness on mitigating risk related to FHB in genetic, seed,
and commodity exchange. GPFHB invites all graduate students and post-docs
working on FHB to attend this event on April 8 at 2PM PT/3PM MT/4PM CT/5PM
ET and learn more from an industry expert. Registration is free but
