[fhb] USWBSI Announcement & New Position: UMN DON Lab Lead PI

Dear USWBSI Community,

We recently were notified that Dr. Yanhong Dong
<https://plpa.cfans.umn.edu/people/yanhong-dong> , research associate
professor at the University of Minnesota and current USWBSI DON Lab Lead PI
and member of the USWBSI Steering Committee will be retiring in July 2026.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude for her years of dedicated service
and the incredible support she has provided to the FHB community. Under Dr.
Dong's leadership, the UMN DON Lab has seen incredible success, providing
high-quality data and reliable support that the USWBSI community depends on
for their FHB research. 

 

To build on this legacy of success, the search for a new analytical chemist
is officially underway. The University of Minnesota has posted a job opening
to fill this vital role and continue the lab's tradition of excellence. You
