[Fhb-update_ma] FHB Update from PA, 06/02/15

FHB Updates - Mid Atlantic SWW Region fhb-update_ma at scabusa.org

Much of the wheat in PA is done or nearly done flowering at this time. For
those of you who have wheat still to flower, pay close attention to your
weather conditions. In many areas of the state, extended rainy periods are
expected this week. This may drive up our infection risk level for wheat
that is currently flowering. If you have the opportunity to spray late
wheat, a fungicide applied up to 5 or 6 days after the initiation of
flowering can reduce infection and subsequent toxin levels.
