Wheat in southern and central Kansas is past the flowering stages of growth
in most fields and is now into the early stages of filling grain. Wheat in
the northern regions of the state are now likely at or near the critical
stages of growth. Much of the state has received rain recently, but the
winter wheat model currently indicates the risk of severe disease is low.
Stripe rust remains a top priority for many growers.
