[Fhb-update_cgp] FHB Update from KS, 05/29/12

[FHB Update - Central GP, Hard Winter Wheat]

Dry weather conditions during the past three to four weeks have greatly reduced the risk of Fusarium head blight (FHB) in KS for 2012.  The crop is rapidly maturing and is already being harvested in parts of southern KS.  To date, I have not observed FHB in production fields and any reports of problems with this disease in KS for 2012.
