In June, the CCRU filled the position vacated by Dr. Ronald Skadsen when he retired, with a research molecular biologist and geneticist to conduct research on the genetic adaptation of barley to abiotic stress (heat and drought) and its impact on quality to help develop breeding strategies to mitigate its impact. <span class=highlightedsearchterm>D</span>r.
