The purpose of this communication is to solicit nominations to <u>fill
vacant areas of representation</u> on the Steering Committee (SC) of the
U.S. Wheat and Barley Scab Initiative (USWBSI). Anyone receiving
this message may nominate someone for consideration in the areas listed
below. Details of the policies and procedures (P&P) governing
the filling of Steering Committee vacancies, along with the
responsibilities of steering committee members, can be found in section
IV,A (see:

http://www.scabusa.org/pdfs/scab_policies.pdf</a>) of the USWBSI Policies
& Procedures.<br>

Food Safety and Toxicology<br>
Pasta Industry<br>

If you would like to nominate someone for election to the USWBSI Steering
Committee for <u>one of the areas listed above</u>, please submit their
name, the area they would be representing (refer to list above), and a
short biographical sketch (one page) on the nominee. You will also
need to submit confirmation of the nominee's acceptance of the
nomination, as well as indication that they have read and agreed to
carry-out the duties and responsibilities described in the USWBSI's
Policies and Procedures. All this should be sent to the Networking
and Facilitation Office (NFO) no later than <b>Friday, November 21,
2014</b>. Current members of the SC will then vote on the nominees.
