<font size=4><b>Registration is open</font> </u></b>for the 40th biennial
Barley Improvement Conference (BIC) to be held at the Hacienda Hotel in
historic Old Town, San Diego, California. The BIC, which was first
held in 1946, provides barley researchers, producers, and end-users the
opportunity to hear reports on the status of barley research programs and
to meet and exchange information and ideas. <br><br>

(barley & wheat) Coordinated Agricultural Project (<b>TCAP</b>)

<b>annual meeting</b> which will be held on <b>Sunday, January 11</b> at
the nearby Town & Country Hotel. <b>You are encouraged to plan
on attending the TCAP and Barley Improvement Conference. </b>The TCAP has
a special opening session for stakeholders to bring them up to date and
for Q&A, followed by talks with highlights of TCAP accomplishments
(<i>agenda attached</i>).<br>
