Dear Scab Colleagues,

We would like to announce that the new ScabSmart website has been launched and is now live.

The new and improved website has been totally redesigned and includes a new logo, color scheme and layout. States now have their own page for each grain class that includes specific information on moderately resistant varieties for Fusarium head blight and fungicides with rates and timing. Quick links to state variety trials and factsheets as well as contact information for those working on Fusarium head blight in each state have also been provided. The new navigation menu allows you to navigate to any page with just one click.

The website is also now mobile friendly and has been updated with “Progressive Web Applications” technology to allow it to work offline. A news feed has been added to the top of each state page linking relevant articles and upcoming events. We have also added a calendar so you can view upcoming events including field days in your area.

Finally, we have created a series of best management practices pages to provide you with the most up-to-date information on fungicides and integrated management strategies. Please feel free to visit the site at https://scabsmart.org <https://scabsmart.org/>. We hope you enjoy it!

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the content please feel free to email Amber Hoffstetter (amber.hoffstetter at scabusa.org <mailto:amber.hoffstetter at scabusa.org>) and questions or concerns with website functionality can be directed to Dave Hane (dhane at scabusa.org).

Warm regards,

Amber
