[FHB] Final Reminder - Registration REQUIRED for ALL FY18-19 Pre-Proposals

anyone who may be interested in submitting a pre-proposal.

REMINDER:  The deadline for registering FY18-19 Pre-Proposals (All
Categories) for submission to the USWBSI is this Thursday, August 31st (see
https://scabusa.org/research_fy18-19#eps).  Pre-Registration is required for
submission of ALL pre-proposals/proposed research projects under all three
Pre-Proposal Categories listed below:

 

Category 1:  Commodity-based and VDHR-Uniform Nursery Coordinated Projects

Category 2:  FHB Management Coordinated Project:  Integrated Management
Studies

Category 3:  Individual Research Areas Pre-Proposal:  FHB Management, Food
Safety and Toxicology, Gene Discovery and Engineering Resistance, and
Pathogen Biology and Genetics.

 

Pre-Proposals not fitting into one of these categories (CPs or Research
Areas) are also welcome, and should be submitted following instructions
under Category 3 of the RFP -

Keep in mind that you will NOT have access to the EPS System until you have
completed both steps (see below) of the registration process:

You must first be logged in to access this form.
NOTE:  A Pre-Proposal Registration form must be completed for each proposed

The U.S. Wheat & Barley Scab Initiative (USWBSI) is now soliciting research
pre-proposals for fiscal years 2018-19.  The FY18-19 Request for Project
Pre-Proposals (RFP) application materials are posted on the USWBSI's Website

Proposed research should be based on the FY18-19 Program Descriptions and

derived from the goals of the USWBSI's Action Plan (

lead to greater collaboration and communication, and more rapid attainment
of the Initiative's mission  "To enhance food safety and supply by reducing
the impact of Fusarium Head Blight (scab) on wheat and barley."
